Self-kindness is not indulgence.
It’s survival.
1. Speak to yourself the way you’d speak to someone you love.
Would you ever tell them they’re not doing enough?
Then don’t tell yourself.
2. Listen to your body without judgment.
Rest when you need to. Move when you can.
3. Allow softness.
This is not the time to be your own critic.
4. Set boundaries.
“Not today” is a complete sentence.
5. Nourish yourself gently.
Warm foods. Warm showers. Warm company.
6. Acknowledge every effort.
Even if all you did today was exist – that is enough.Kindness isn’t a luxury during cancer.
It’s the oxygen you breathe.
It’s the light you carry.
It’s what gets you through.
